Senior management career with Springs and Milliken. In addition to his work with ITA, Jim also teaches chemistry at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and works with USC on government grants on studies related to fiber forensics.

• Industrial fabrics (printers blankets, abrasive substrates, ballistic fabrics, circuit ? board reinforcement, glass reinforcement, composites, carbon reinforced composites, coating substrates, concrete reinforcement, etc.)

While with industry, Jim developed and has patents for a number of fire safety fabrics (FIREGARD, FIREWARE, Nomex, Kevlar, FR cotton, etc.).

Jim is principal of Jim Hendrix Associates, Pacolet, SC. He became associated with Industrial Textile Associates, May, 2001. Since then, Bill and Jim have worked together on several projects for some of the industry's leading companies.
